  • Lipid-Lowering Therapies Beyond Statins: A Comprehensive Review for Physicians

MACE typically includes a composite of cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction (“heart attack”) and non-fatal stroke. MACE endpoints provide a more clinically relevant measure of a therapy’s impact on patient outcomes compared to surrogate markers like LDL-C levels alone.
